WB SET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidate must get the Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marks for reserved candidates such as SC/ST/ OBC(NCL)/ PWD) from reputed Universities/ Institutions.
Applicant who is pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent program or applicants who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) exam & whose result is still awaited or applicants whose qualifying exam have been delayed may also apply for the test.
Age Limit: There is No upper age limit.
How to apply for WB SET Exam 2023?
- First, go to the official site of WBCSC which is wbcsonline. in
- Then click on the option ‘Apply Now in front of the line ‘Apply for SET Exam ’
- Then fill in the details asked there like choosing the subject on which you want to give a paper, choosing 2 exam centers, etc.
- Then you will have to enter your personal details like Name, Contact no., address, email id, parents’ name, etc.
- Then you will have to enter your Academic qualifications
- Then you will have to upload the asked documents there on the page within the given limit.
- Then finally after submitting the application fee, the application procedure will be completed.
- Save the registration no. for further process.

- Candidates must pay the application fees online mode.
- Application fees can pay through the Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
- Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official site of the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC).

WB SET Exam Pattern:
Paper First:
- First paper Carry 100 marks and 50 questions
- All questions are Mandatory.
- The time duration will be of 1 Hour (09:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.)
Paper Second:
- The second paper contains 200 marks and 100 questions
- All questions are mandatory.
- Time duration will be of 2 Hours (11:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M.)
