The Official Schedule of the Bandi Rakshak Recruitment in the state of Uttarakhand will be out next month. In this procedure, the Police department will conduct the Physical Eligibility Test and UKSSSC (Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Services Commission) will be conducting a written examination for the same.

There has been a scarcity of the Bandi Rakshak in the prisons of Uttarakhand but due to the delay in the correction in the manual book of the same the Recruitment procedure was on halt. Now the order has been passed by the Cabinet to bring certain corrections to the Rulebook. After the rectified rulebook has been passed by the Cabinet, there are now different vacancies for the posts of Male Bandi Rakshak and different vacancies for Female Bandi Rakshak.

The Schedule has been made for the Written exam and Physical Eligibility Test recently. Earlier, the Police Department used to conduct the Recruitment procedure but now it will only hold the Physical Eligibility Test and the Written examination will be organized by the UKSSSC authority.

Corrections made in the Rulebook for Uttarakhand Bandi Rakshak Recruitment 2023:

Earlier the minimum academic qualification needed to apply for this recruitment was a 10^th pass but now it is a 12^th.
The Age limit was 18 to 35 years earlier but now it is 21 to 35 years.
Earlier only a written exam of 100 marks used to be held but now the same written exam will be held along with a separate Physical Test of 100 marks.
The written examination will be having a General Knowledge of 50 marks and a General Aptitude of 50 marks.
It is now compulsory to secure a minimum of 33% marks in the written examination.

Selection Procedure:

Firstly, there will be a written examination conducted by the UKSSSC Authority.
Then, the applicants who will pass that written exam will then have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test which will be conducted by the Police Department.
Then a Merit List will be declared by the Official Authority which will consist of the names of those applicants who will be selected for the Post of Bandi Rakshak.
Now those applicants will have to appear in the Document Verification procedure.
After the Document Verification process, a final selection list will be released on the official site.
