Eligibility Criteria Lucknow University B.P.Ed 2023:
For M.P.Ed course:
- The applicant must have done B.P.Ed. or equivalent with at least 50% marks or they must have done B.Sc. in Physical Education with at least 50% marks.
- The age of the applicants must not be more than 35 years as of 1st July 2023.
For B.P.Ed Course:
- The age of the applicants must not be more than 25 years as of 1st July 2023.
- The applicants must have a Graduation degree in any of the streams with at least 50% marks or they must have Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with at least 45% marks. Or They can have a Graduation degree with 3 years of teaching experience (for trained Physical Education Teachers).
Admission Procedure for M.P. Ed. program
The admission to the M.P. Ed. program is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Exam, Physical test, Game Proficiency Test, Sports Achievement & then finally in the interview. The maximum mark for all these tests and interviews added is 100.
- Step I – Written Exam of 40 Marks.
- Step II – Physical Fitness Test of 20 marks
- Step III – Game Proficiency Test of 20 marks
- Step IV – Sports Achievement of 10 marks.
- Step V – Interview of 10 marks
Physical Fitness Test:
- Shuttle Run 4×10 m of 4 Marks
- 50 m Run of 4 Marks
- Sit-ups (One minute) of 4 Marks
- 600 m Run of 4 Marks
- Standing Broad Jump of 4 Marks.
Admission Procedure for B.P. Ed Course:
The candidates get admission after appearing in 4 sections of tests. All these tests are of 100 marks. The duration of these tests is 2 hours.
- Step I – Written Exam of 30 Marks.
- Step II – Physical Fitness Test of 30 marks
- Step III – Game Proficiency Test of 20 marks
- Step IV – Sports Achievement of 10 marks.
- Step V – Interview of 10 marks

- There on the site, they must click on the option Apply online
- Then they must click on the option ‘B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed Admissions 2023’
- Now fill the form online by entering all the details
- Now submit the fee
- Finally submit the form and take its printout.
Application fee:
- General and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs.1600 (With late fee of Rs.2600)
- SC and ST category candidates have to pay Rs.800 (With a late fee of Rs. 1800)
- The fee can be paid via online modes of payment.
Final Merit:
