Uttarakhand B.ED TET 562 candidates not eligible become teacher. There has been an issue rising regarding the list of those B.ED TET candidate who have selected by the authority to become a teacher in the basic schools of the state. SCERT (State Council of Education Research and Training had issued the list on Sunday for the 1162 posts of teachers in the state. B.ED TET unemployed union had claimed that out of those 1162 candidates who have been selected for the posts of teachers, 562 candidates are not eligible for those posts and have been illegally selected.

After protesting for a long time in front of the Education Office, the B.ED TET Unemployed Union leader Manbeer Rawat stated in a council meeting that according to the norms the candidates can not apply again after applying for the same before. But in the list of 1162 candidates, there are 562 candidates who have applied for the exam in 2011 and then also in 2014 are already on the same post with the same salary.

Due to this the other unemployed candidates have to bear the cost of not getting job who came later after them. He also told that the Union will file a case against such candidates and this issue will be taken at higher level. He also told that the official department did not focussed on this issue before issuing the selection list which is not good. The Union also showed their protest regarding the negligence of reservation rules. He told that only 2% of STs and 5% OBCs are there in the list which is illegal according to the norms.
