Eligibility Criteria for UPPSC Assistant Engineer 2023 Exam:
Education Qualification: The candidates must be having Engineering Degree in Civil / Mechanical or Agriculture / B. tech or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute/college. Preference will be given to the applicants having: (i) served in the Territorial Army for at least a period of 2 years, or (ii) obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C
Age Limit: The age of the applicants must not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years to apply for this exam as on 1 July of the recruitment year. Reserved category candidates will receive upper-age relaxation.
Salary: Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-Rs. 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- Post-Class-II, Gazetted.

Selection Procedure:
Written Examination – A written exam will take place. This exam has to be qualifying in nature. Only those who will qualify for this exam will move ahead to the next phase of the Selection process.
Interview – The qualified candidates will be taking part in the Personal Interview Round in which a panel of Members will test the intelligence of the applicants.
Document Verification – After passing the Interview Round, the aspirants will have to get their Academic Documents verified like the 10th or 12th Marks sheet, or Graduation mark sheet. After this, a final selection list shall be uploaded on the official site by the official authority on the official website of UPPSC.
