  3. Computer Knowledge Test: The computer knowledge test is conducted for both ARO and RO posts. It consists of multiple-choice objective-type questions based on computer fundamentals, the Windows operating system, MS Office, and the Internet. The test carries 100 marks and the duration is 1 hour.
  4. Typing Test: The typing test is conducted for ARO posts only. It is a speed test in Hindi and English languages, and the candidate must have a minimum typing speed of 4000 key depressions per hour in each language. The test carries 100 marks and the duration is 10 minutes for each language.

The final selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the main examination, computer knowledge test, and typing test (for the ARO post). Candidates who qualify for the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the main examination.
