Project Runway Season 1:

The first season of Project Runway, which aired on December 1, 2004, featured 12 designers. Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and Heidi Klum served as judges, and Parsons The New School for Design fashion chair Tim Gunn mentored the designers.

Project Runway Season 2:

On December 7, 2005, the second season debuted on TV. For the second season, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, and Michael Kors all returned. 16 designers were selected as semi-finalists following a nationwide search earlier in the year, and they were brought to New York City in June 2005.

Project Runway Season 3:

On July 12, 2006, the third season, which featured 15 designers, debuted. For the third season, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, and Michael Kors all returned. Project Runway Season 4:

The fourth season debuted on November 14, 2007, highlighting 15 originators. Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, and Tim Gunn all returned for the fourth season. Gunn was given the title of Chief Creative Officer for Liz Claiborne Inc. earlier this year.
