Odisha Polytechnic 2023 Application:

The official website of the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha will issue the application form in the month of February 2023.
The application/registration can only be submitted through online mode.
Before filling up the form, must ensure your eligibility to appear in the admission process.
Uploads scanned documents which are needed to be uploaded with the application.
Pay application fees and print the system-generated application form.

Application Fee:

Fee can be paid online.
For General Male Candidates: 450/-
For Female Candidates: 350/-
For SC/ST/PC Candidates: 200/-
The fee once submitted, is non-refundable.

Odisha Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

For admission Diploma in Engineering/Technology

The candidates should have passed the Class 10th examination with 35% marks or its equivalent.
Candidates must have passed with the subject at the qualifying examination with Science, Mathematics, & English.
The minimum age criteria are 14 years for first-year diploma courses in engineering except mining and drilling.
No upper age limit

For Admission Lateral Entry Scheme in Diploma in Engineering/Technology

The candidates must have completed Class 12th (Intermediate) or its equivalent examination with PCM subjects from a recognized board.
Candidates should have passed two years ITI in Engineering Trade with a pass in Class 10th examination.

For admission in Film & TV Courses (Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering/ Film & Video Editing):

For Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering, the candidates must have passed Class 12th Science with a minimum of 35% marks for the recognized board.
For Film & Video Editing course, the candidate should have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognized board.
The age limit is 16 to 28 years as of 01.06.2020.
Three years of age relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

For Admission Diploma Courses- Non-Engineering

Modern Office Management: Candidates must have completed Class 12th from a recognized board or its equivalent examination in any stream.
Pharmacy: Candidate must have done Class 12th Science Examination from recognized board.
The candidate must obtain at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics and obtain at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.

Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Candidates should have passed the Class 12th Examination in any stream recognized by the board.
The candidate must obtain at least 35% marks in aggregate securing at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
There is no upper age limit
The minimum age limit is 16 years.

Result/Merit Odisha Polytechnic 2023:

The admissions for DET Odisha will be made on the basis of the merit list. Candidates can download the merit list from the official site i.e. www.dtetorissa.gov.in.

Counselling/Admission Odisha Polytechnic 2023:

Counselling will be held in the month of July 2023. The selected candidate will be called for counselling on the scheduled date and time.
