Eligibility Criteria:

Odisha D.El.Ed 2023:

  • Candidates must have done 10+2 from a known institute.
  • Candidates must have got at least 50% marks.
  • Relaxation of 5% is given to Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/PH).
  • Candidates must have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any such equivalent or higher examination (+2) or have passed Odia in single subject Examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia.
  • Candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Urdu, Cuttack must have passed Urdu as MIL up to HSC standard/equivalent examination.
  • Candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Telugu must have passed Telugu as MIL up to HSC standard/equivalent examination.
  • Appearing candidates are also eligible.

For B.Ed: 

  • Candidates must be a graduate in Arts / Science stream. The aspirant should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH) in aggregate in the Bachelor’s Degree or in the Master’s Degree in concerned Science / Social Science / Humanity subject.
  • Candidates must have passed Graduation with at least two school subjects of minimum 200 marks each.
    Or
  • B.Tech candidates with specialization in Science and Mathematics (as per AICTE syllabus) with 55% marks (50% in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH) in aggregate.

The Science graduate:

  • Candidates should have passed with two school subjects (with not less than 200 marks each) out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science and Geography.

For Arts Graduate Degree:

  • Any two subjects must be studied in school: English / Odia / Hindi / Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Indian Economy, Political Science, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, Mathematics.

For M.Ed:

  • Candidates must be  (B.Ed., BA B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed.) from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH).

Reservation:

  • The age limit of the candidates must not exceed 30 years for the General category.
  • The age limit of the candidates must not exceed 35 years for SC/ST category.
  • The age limit of the candidates must not exceed 40 years for PwD category.

How to Apply SCERT Odisha D.El.Ed 2023:

  • The applicants must apply for the exam via online mode.
  • They must apply from May by visiting the official site of SCERT.
  • There on the site, they must fill their online application form.
  • All details must be correct and true.
  • Then they must submit the form finally after the submission of the application fee.
  • Print application form for future reference.

Exam Pattern:

  • Paper will be held in offline mode.
  • There are 2 sections in the paper.
  • 1st section contains 40 MCQs of 40 marks.
  • 2nd section contains 60 MCQs of 60 marks.
  • Duration of 2 hours is there
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks is there.

Admit card:
