Application fees –

The candidates who want to apply for the GATE 2019 Examination must pay the application fees for the same. The application fee for the GATE Exam is Rs.1500 for the General and the OBC category candidates while it is Rs.750 for the SC/ST category candidates.

Exam Pattern –

There is only 1 paper in the GATE 2019 Examination which is of a total of 100 marks. There will be 65 Objective Type Questions (MCQs). Out of 65 Questions, 10 questions will be from General Aptitude Section and will be carrying a total of 15 marks. A duration of 3 hours will be given to complete the paper of GATE 2019 Examination.

GATE Syllabus 2019:

GATE exam is conducted for a total of 23 papers. The applicants are needed to choose only paper which they want to give. Each subject has its own syllabus. The students can download the official PDF of GATE 2019 syllabus for AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CS, CY, EC, EE, EY, XE, GG, IN, MA, ME, MN, MT, PE, PH, PI, TF and XL.

GATE Exam 2019 Admit Card:

GATE Admit card will be available in the mid of January 2019. Candidate can simply enter your credential and admit card will be displayed.  During the examination, candidate must be bring one Id proof with admit card.

ID proof are:

Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Valid College ID, Employee identification card or Driving License. From international students, only valid Passport/ Government issued ID/College ID/ Employee ID will be accepted as ID proof.

GATE 2019 Answer key, Cut off an Counselling:

Official answer key will be issued in the second week of Feb 2019. Candidates can also challenge the answer key with nominal fees. After final publication of answer key, then result will be issued on the website. Candidate can download score card in mid of March 2019. No common counselling will be conducted by the IITs  for providing admission to PG courses. Counseling purely based on GATE 2019 scores.
