Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidates must have passed class 10th and 12th from the reputed board or university.
- Candidates must have registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Common Proficiency Course (ICAI CPC).
- There is no age limit to take part in this examination.
- Candidates must have score 55% marks in B.Com or M.Com or 60% in bachelor or masters.
- Candidates are advised must have read the official notification form the complete it.
How to Register for CA CPT 2023?
- Candidates can register by simply visiting the official site of the authority i.e icai.org.
- After visiting the site candidates need to find the “Apply” option and click on it.
- Then candidates need to rad the official notification carefully and fill the registration form.
- Candidates fill up the registration form with details such as personal background information, educational qualification, address, name, contact number, etc.
- After filling the basic information need to upload scanned copies of your passport size photograph, signature & educational qualification documents in the given format.
- Then candidates also need to pay the application fee as per government rules.
- After that all candidates recheck the application form and click on the submit button.
- At last, candidates also take a print out of application form for the next process.
Application fees:
- Candidates can pay the application fee through the online or offline mode.
- The online mode of payment are credit card, debit card, Rupay card & net Banking.
- The offline mode of payment are Bank Challan.

Exam Pattern for CA CPT 2023:

- Total number of sessions: Two (Morning and Afternoon)
- First session of CA CPT: 100 marks (10.30 am to 12.30 pm)
- Second session of CA CPT: 100 marks (2 pm to 4 pm)

- Negative marking scheme: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer
- Total duration of exam: 4 hours
