Official answer key will be published soon by Uttar Pradesh Service commission web portal. UPSC Civil Services CSAT Preliminary Exam result will be published soon. Expected date of the result may be month of October 2017. UPSC Civil Services CSAT Examination will be conducted in two stages: preliminary and main. UPSC Civil Services CSAT Preliminary Exam will be held on Aug 2017. Qualified candidates will be called for UPSC Civil Services CSAT Main Exam 2017.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CSAT 2017:
Candidates must have holding any degree from recognized university/college.
Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying exam and are awaiting the results are also eligible to appear for the preliminary examination.
Candidate’s age must be lies between 21 to 32 years. (Relaxation will be given as per government rules).

CSAT 2017 Paper I: Total Marks= 200; Duration: Two Hours; Number of Questions: 100
Current Affairs: Events of national and international importance
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography: Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance: Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development: Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change (no subject specialization required)
CSAT General Ability Test Paper 2 Syllabus:
CSAT Paper II: Marks=200; Duration: Two Hours; Number of Questions: 80
Interpersonal skills (communication skills).
Logical reasoning and Analytical ability.
Decision making and problem solving.
General mental ability.
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.).
Data Interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc).
English Language Comprehension skills.
Total Eighty (80) questions have 200 marks, thus each question is of 2.5 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.83 (33%) marks.
