UPSC Civil Services Eligibility Criteria 2023

UPSC Civil Services Eligibility Criteria 2023:
- Candidates must have held any degree from a recognized university/college.
- Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying exam and are awaiting the results are also eligible to appear for the preliminary examination.
- The candidate’s age must be lies between 21 to 32 years. (Relaxation will be given as per government rules).

- Indian and World Geography: Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
- Indian Polity and Governance: Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
- Economic and Social Development: Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
- General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change (no subject specialization required)
- General Science
General Ability Test Paper 2 Syllabus:
Paper-II: Marks=200; Duration: Two Hours; Number of Questions: 80

Total Eighty (80) questions have 200 marks, thus each question is of 2.5 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.83 (33%) marks.
