The JNU Admissions 2023 is conducted by JNU which provides the qualified and eligible applicants admissions in the different kinds of Graduate and Post-graduate courses. To get admissions in the JNU, the applicants first have to apply for the JNU Admissions and then they have to appear in an entrance exam which is conducted by JNU.

Eligibility Criteria for JNU 2023 Admission:-
- For B.A.(Hons.) 1st Year: Passed the senior school certificate (10+2) or intermediate or equivalent examination.
- For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year: Qualified 1st year of bachelor’s degree or an equivalent examination.
- For the MA course: Passed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education.
- For M.Phil./Ph.D. program: Passed a master’s degree in the concerned language/subject with at least 50% marks.
How to Apply for JNU 2023 Admission:
The applicants who want to apply for admission must go to the official website of JNU which is jnu.ac.in. There they must click on admissions and then register on the site. Then after that, they must log in to their account to fill in their details and the registration form. Then they must submit the form after uploading their documents and signature etc before the last. Finally, they must pay the application form.
Application fee-
- The applicants who want to apply for the admissions must pay the application fee for the same.
- The application fee is Rs.220 for the General candidates, Rs.110 for SC/ST, and Rs.130 for OBC for the courses like M.Phil/M. Tech, Pre-PhD/Ph.D., M.A, M.Sc, MCA, etc.
- The application for the B.A (Hons.) for the 1st and 2nd-year candidates is Rs.430 for General Candidates, RS.215 for SC/ST candidates and Rs.230 for the OBC candidates.
Admission Dates:
- The online application procedure will be in 1st week of February 2023
- The last date of online application is in the 3rd week of March 2023
- Form correction date will be in the last week of March 2023
- The exam will take place in the third week of May 2023
- The result will be declared at the End of June 2023
- Viva-voce of candidates selected will take place in the 3rd week of July 2023
JNU 2023 Admit Card:
- The admit card can be downloaded from the JNU official site.
- Admit card contains all mandatory information of the Examination.
- Also, bring a copy of the latest passport size photograph with admit card.
- Candidates will get their admit card by entering their registration numbers and date of birth.

- The result/merit list will be published in the month of June 2023.
- The selected candidate will be called for the Viva-Voice.
- Selection list will be made on the basis of written examination.
- Merit list will be prepared according to the courses.
- Merit list and the selected list will be uploaded on the website.
- There is no procedure for the counseling process.
JNU Admissions Procedure 2023:
- The Admission Procedure will be begun from the first week of July 2023.
- Candidates can register themselves in different courses.
- To confirm/lock the seats, candidates will have to pay an admission fee in the form of DD of Rs. 5000/- that is non-refundable (Rs. 2500/- in the case of SC/ST/PH candidates).
- Last Date of admission and registration will be mentioned on the notification.
