IIT JEE Main 2022 is a two-tier exam (Main and Advanced) which is conducted by the CBSE Board to offer admissions to the qualifying applicants in the IITs, NITs and other institutions of India for the UG courses of Engineering, Architecture etc while the IITs of India provide admissions in the same on the basis of the JEE Advanced exam. IIT JEE Main 2022 exam is a qualifying exam which is important for all the applicants to qualify so that they can appear in the JEE Advanced Exam. Eligibility Criteria IIT JEE Mains 2022:-
Educational qualifications-
The students who want to appear in the JEE Mains exam must have done their 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised institute in which they must have gotten at least 50% marks in total (45% for the reserved category). The students who are going to appear in the Class 12th exams or its equivalent can also apply.
Age limit-
The General students who want to appear in the JEE Mains exam 2021 must not be more than 24 years to apply and the SC/ST and Physically handicapped candidates must not be more than 29 years to apply.
How to Apply for IIT JEE Main 2022:
The students who want to appear in the IIT JEE Main 2022 must go to the site of jeemain.nic.in to apply. There they must fill the application form of IIT JEE Main 2022. Then after that, they must submit their scanned pictures, signatures and the left thumb impression. Then after that, they must pay the application fee through debit or credit cards or e-challan. Then after paying the fees, they must download the acknowledgement slip and keep it safe.

Application fees-
The students who want to appear in the IIT JEE Main 2022 must pay the application fees through any medium. The fees for the paper I (offline mode) is Rs.1000 for General and OBC Boys candidates and Rs.500 for the rest of all. The fees for the paper I (online mode) is Rs.500 for General/OBC boys candidates and Rs.250 for the rest of all. The fees for the paper I and II both (offline mode) is Rs.1800 for the General/OBC boys candidates and Rs.900 for the rest of all. The fees for the paper I and II both (online mode) is Rs.1300 for the General/OBC boys candidates and Rs.650 for the rest of all.

Exam Pattern:
The examination will be conducted for two papers (Engineering and architecture). Candidates who want to take admission in B.Tech/B.E they must apply for the paper I and the candidates who want to take admission in B.Arch/B. Planning, they must apply for paper II. Candidate can apply for both papers.
- Paper, I include total Ninety objective multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- Paper-II includes total eighty-two questions- thirty questions from Mathematics, fifty questions from aptitude test and two questions from the drawing test.
